I almost stole a childs chiuaua yesterday. I was driving to work, already on schedule to be 5 minutes late, when I saw a naked collar-less chiuaua running down the street. It was like 20 degrees outside or less that day and I was worried that the dog would freeze to death. I was sure he had gotten loose from his house and would soon be a goner. I turned around and followed him. I stopped the car and called him... he started to trot over and I heard a really scared 7 or 8 year old yell nervously: MOMMY! Apparently the dog was just not too well cared for (outside with no sweater or collar...) and they were just letting him out to pee. Had I not stopped right in front of the house where the dog lived he would have spent the better part of the day in the back room at starbucks in university plaza and then probably moved in with me or had to go to the spca... you should have seen the kids face as I slammed shut the door to the jetta and busted a move up on out of there... I angelator, was almost a dognapper. That kid had nightmares about me I'm sure.
